Browse through the innovative programs that State Library leads in collaboration with Queensland’s rich literary community. For readers and writers

Readers can find book recommendations from the collections, as well as interviews with your favourite Queensland authors. For writers, State Library manages the Queensland Literary Awards and hosts an annual short story prize for young authors. On level 2 of State Library, you can pop into the Queensland Writers Centre.
