Driven cinema: Bush Mechanics

Presenting all four episodes of the game-changing Australian documentary TV series, Bush Mechanics, featuring an Indigenous Australian take on motor mechanics.

The film celebrates the ingenuity – and occasional sheer luck – of a crew of Warlpiri adventurers as they resurrect cars long consigned to the scrap heap.

Directed by David Batty and Francis Jupurrurla Kelly, and produced by the Warlpiri Media Association (now Pintubi Anmatjere Warlpiri (PAW) Media).
