Dream cars

Recommended all ages.

This summer The Corner is a celebration of all things car with opportunities to make, design, reimagine and play. Cars are more than just machines, they take us on amazing adventures and might even have a name. They come in all shapes and sizes and inspire storytellers, artists, engineers and collectors. So, what’s the car of your dreams? Where will you go today? Join us for sensory and pretend play, art projects and more everyday of the school holidays.

While you’re here take a drive down memory lane and visit our latest summer exhibition Driven in slq Gallery. Fuelled by nostalgia and State Library's remarkable collections, the exhibition brings together a gigantic array of licence plates, eye-catching artworks, historic photographs and fun road signs designed especially for children and families.
