All about apps and online Hobbies
Come along to our September sessions to get some great ideas on "apps", where to get them and how to make the most of them. We then look at possible online resources for hobbies, fun and education, and suggest some apps and sites which may fit your interests, including the Google suite of products: Maps, Earth and Arts and Culture, resources for the aspiring online blogger, and online learning. Morning tea is included.

Be Connected gives older adults an opportunity to participate in fun, free learning sessions that will increasing their confidence, skills, and knowledge to get online using everyday technology such as smartphones, tablets, laptops and computers.
There is a broad range of topics on offer from learning the absolute basics, getting to know your devices and how to get started online, to connecting with family, online hobbies such as researching your family history and most importantly, how to stay safe online.
State Library of Queensland is part of the Be Connected network and will deliver Be Connected learning session’s onsite Wednesdays and Fridays from 10.00am till 12.30pm, morning tea will be included. Each month we will focus on different learning topics (listed below) and you can book into as many sessions as you like.
