Digital photography basics
Designed for the digital camera or camera phone owner, this week we look at basics of digital shooting. We will examine features and functions of your digital camera/ phone camera, making the most of your zoom, how to get pictures from your camera’s memory card onto your computer, and some basic photo editing.
This session will offer most to those who own a digital camera or camera phone, so BYO camera and connecting cable and make sure it's charged. (Please note, there is a large variation in camera features between phone models. Not all features discussed may be available on your phone camera.)
Be Connected gives older adults an opportunity to participate in fun, free learning sessions that will increasing their confidence, skills, and knowledge to get online using everyday technology such as smartphones, tablets, laptops and computers.
There is a broad range of topics on offer from learning the absolute basics, getting to know your devices and how to get started online, to connecting with family, online hobbies such as researching your family history and most importantly, how to stay safe online.
State Library of Queensland is part of the Be Connected network and will deliver Be Connected learning session’s onsite Wednesdays and Fridays from 10.00am till 12.30pm, morning tea will be included. Each month we will focus on different learning topics (listed below) and you can book into as many sessions as you like.
