3D Printer Induction
Tickets on sale 13 March
Learn the fundamentals of designing a basic 3D model and get hands-on experience with safe 3D printing operations.
Induction will include how to transform a virtual 3D model into a tangible plastic object. We will guide you through the basics of 3D printing, including how to create your own model, load it into the printer and clean up the finished product.
We will also introduce you to Tinkercad, a free and user-friendly online program for 3D design. Use your creativity to craft your own design and take home your very first 3D printed object.
Once you have completed the induction, you will be able to book The Edge’s 3D printers during Open Lab.
