Queensland Terrace
The Queensland Terrace is a stunning venue with mirrored ceilings, marble floors, and a collection of vintage tea cups. Its open-air design offers city views and protection from the elements, making it perfect for memorable events.

River Decks
Suspended over the banks of the Brisbane River, our river decks offer stunning city views and a magical, intimate setting for your event. The larger deck features a partially covered area and connects to a smaller, tree-shaded deck.

Poinciana Lounge
Nestled amongst State Library’s collections, the Poinciana Lounge is an elegant space with stunning views of the Brisbane River and city skyline. Featuring high ceilings, two-story windows, and a grand piano, it provides an elegant atmosphere for any event. Available for booking outside of library opening hours only.

Red Box
The Red Box is a unique venue, enclosed by floor-to-ceiling windows that create the sensation of floating above the Brisbane River. With breathtaking views of the city skyline, it's perfect for intimate, high-impact events. Tiered wooden seating leads to the space, ideal for ceremonies, presentations, or performances.

John Oxley Library Reading Room
The John Oxley Library Reading Room, home to unique Queensland collections, offers stunning Brisbane River and city views. Furnished with Tasmanian oak tables, reading lamps, and an elegant lounge, it provides a sophisticated, traditional library setting for your event.

Talking Circle
The Talking Circle, part of kuril dhagun, holds cultural significance at Kurilpa Point. This outdoor space features a timber deck and sandstone paving complemented by city and river views. The venue also has an oval firepit, which can be used for presentations or storytelling. The Talking Circle does not permit alcohol within the venue.
