Requests can be made in One Search, our library catalogue using your State Library membership.

State Library spaces are gradually reopening, please refer to the information on how to book a space, open hours and conditions of entry prior to submitting your request.

Requests for collections are delivered on the day of your space booking.  Spaces are bookable in three-hour blocks from 9am - 12pm and 1pm - 4pm Monday - Friday and 10am - 12pm and 1pm - 4pm Saturday and Sunday.

To ensure your item is available for collection, we recommend you request your item/s 1 day prior to your space booking.

Heritage Collection

Requests for collections are delivered on the day of your John Oxley Library space booking. Spaces are bookable in three-hour blocks from 10am - 1pm and from 2pm - 5pm, 7 days per week.

Offsite storage

Requests for newspapers held offsite are delivered weekly to the John Oxley Library.  Please contact us to submit your request and ensure you have made your space booking.
