Story Bridge under construction

View of the fenced-off yards of Evans Deakin-Hornibrook Constructions Pty Ltd.. Evans Deakin and M.R. Hornibrook Pty Ltd. were the contractors responsible for building the Story Bridge between 1935 and 1940. On the building site cranes are being used to lift steel trusses and other materials.
