Support the Queensland Literary Awards – Children’s Book Award

A passionate donor or sponsor is needed to support the Children’s Book Award at the 2025 Queensland Literary Awards.

Your sponsorship will celebrate and elevate exceptional storytelling for children aged 12 and under and ensure stories by talented Australian authors are discovered, honoured, and shared for generations to come.

All donations and sponsorships are match funded by Arts Queensland, with the award winner receiving $15,000.

Why Support the Children’s Book Award?

Your support will directly impact the lives of Australian children and the authors who create magical, inspiring and unforgettable stories especially for them.

The Children’s Book award supports lifelong literacy, encouraging families to read and enjoy books together, and showcasing a diversity of experiences, cultures and perspectives.

It promotes creativity and provides vital recognition and encouragement for children’s book authors and illustrators.
