The Corner Big Day out competition – Terms and conditions
The prize includes
Great Barrier Reef Day Tour to Lady Elliot Island with flights included from the Gold Coast (Coolangatta) or Redcliffe (Brisbane) for 2 Adults, or 1 Adult and 1 Child, including Full Buffet (Hot & Cold) Lunch (value of up to $2,198).
Conditions of entry
- The competition's instructions on how to enter form part of the conditions of entry. By entering the competition, entrants agree to the conditions of entry.
- The Promoter is State Library of Queensland, Stanley Place, South Brisbane, Queensland 4101 ABN: 45 872 652 679.
- Entrants must be 18 years or over.
- The competition will be drawn on 14 May 2025, with the competition period running from 6 April 2025 to 13 May 2025.
- One entry per person only will be accepted.
- The competition is open to Australian residents only.
- Entrants are fully responsible for any additional travel costs (flights or other transport, accommodation, meals etc.) that may be associated with claiming the prize.
- An entry consists of an eligible entrant subscribing to the Children and Families newsletter and the Queensland Library Foundation newsletter via this form.
- Entrants must have subscribed via this form between 6 April 2025 – 13 May 2025. If an entrant subscribes via this form and has a pre-existing subscription to one or both of the Children and Families newsletter and the Queensland Library Foundation newsletter, their entry remains valid as long as the other conditions of entry are met.
- State Library of Queensland employees and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter the competition.
- The winner will be the first valid entry chosen at random by a representative of State Library of Queensland from the pool of entrants on 14 May 2025.
- The winners will be notified by email from a State Library of Queensland representative.
- The prize will be posted to the winner’s identified address that State Library of Queensland will obtain from the winner via email.
- The prizes are not redeemable for cash.
- In the event that the winner cannot be contacted within 7 working days from initial contact, a replacement winner will be drawn at random within the following 7 days by a representative of State Library and the original winner will forfeit any and all rights to the prize.
- The Promoter and their associated agencies and companies will take no responsibility for the prize or entries being damaged, late, stolen or lost. The Promoter and their associated agencies and companies will accept no responsibility for circumstances beyond our control. The winner agrees to participate at their own risk.
- The winner’s name will be used for marketing purposes and promotional materials.
- The competition will be governed by the laws of Queensland.
- The decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
