Rural Libraries Queensland

Rural Libraries Queensland (RLQ) represents a significant collaboration between local governments and the State Library of Queensland to provide high quality public library services to rural Queensland's people.

The Aurora online catalogue provides 24/7 access to the resources and services of the 28 participating councils in the network. The network is also shared with over 20 Indigenous Knowledge Centres.

Become a member

Become a member of your local Rural Libraries Queensland (RLQ) library or Indigenous Knowledge Centre (IKC). Sign up for free in person, online, or while travelling through rural Queensland. You can choose an RLQ or IKC membership, an online-only membership, or a tourist membership.
