First 5 Forever is a family literacy program delivered by public libraries and Indigenous Knowledge Centres (IKCs) with the primary aim of providing information, resources and support to families to help build strong early literacy foundations for all Queensland children aged 0-5 years.

The Summer Reading Club is an annual free public program delivered through Queensland public libraries and Indigenous Knowledge Centres that aims to encourage a love of reading and literacy skills development in children and families during the summer holidays.
