Fact or Fiction? A media literacy workshop for students (years 4-7)

In today's information-rich world, knowing how to find, evaluate and share information responsibly is more important than ever. From misleading headlines to online misinformation, students are constantly navigating information that isn't always what it seems.

Join State Library of Queensland for a fun and interactive online workshop where students (years 4-7) will put their detective skills to the test using State Library’s Fact or Fiction? resource. Through engaging challenges, students will explore some of the tricks used to influence us online and learn how to separate fact from fiction.

Build practical fact-checking skills, discover how to question what you see, read and hear, and explore how simple actions, such as checking sources and thinking before sharing, can make a big difference in navigating the digital world with confidence.
