Heritage talks: houses and homes
In this heritage talk, we’re joined by Marianne Taylor (The House Detective) and heritage architect David Gole, to explore the concept of Queensland’s heritage homes; from the iconic 'Queenslander' style to the workings of the Queensland heritage register.
This is a recording of Heritage talks: houses and homes, which was held on 25 November 2024.
Queensland Memory Awards
The Queensland Memory Awards aim to recognise outstanding contributions made to advance our understanding of Queensland's history and heritage. Fellowships and residencies support researchers and creatives of all kinds to interpret the significant collections of the John Oxley Library. Through deep engagement and interaction with the collections, these interpretations provide new insights into the collection and contribute new knowledge about Queensland’s history.
