The Corner at Home Activities: Photo Scavenger Hunt

Scavenger Hunt Activity

Hello and welcome to The Corner at Home Activities. Today’s activity is inspired by the online exhibition Twenty: Two decades of Queensland photography. Photography is a great way to record the past and share stories. This exhibition is full of beautiful and powerful images that make us stop and think about all the different events that have happened in Queensland over the past 20 years. Be inspired! Visit Twenty: two decades of Queensland photography exhibition online at https://twenty.slq.qld.gov.au/

Kids - big and little, process complex information when we are engaged in play and having fun, so let’s put on our best imaginative, playful hats together.

Today, join Mari as she plays a game of scavenger hunt using photographs taken around the State Library of Queensland. This is such a fun way to notice and focus on little, interesting details whilst exploring your surroundings. It also provides a wonderful opportunity to use and practise different words with your little one to build vocabulary creatively.

Enjoy the fun of a photography scavenger hunt in your home
