The Corner

Hello Families, and welcome to The Corner.

The Corner is currently closed, and we miss you at the library, however, we look forward to welcoming you back very soon.

In the meantime, we encourage you to be inspired here online by a range of creative activities for family play and learning with The Corner at Home Activities. 

You can also join us online through our Watch page for First 5 Forever sessions of Story Time, Rhyme Time and Baby Play updated weekdays on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays at 10am on social media

Don’t forget to visit our First 5 Forever webpage for tips and resources to support early literacy and providing opportunities for children and their families to talk, read, sing and play together every day.

Become a State Library of Queensland member  and access these quality resources to share with your family.

  • Animalia:  Engage digitally with Graeme Base’s ‘Animalia’ and ‘The ABC of Flying’ – read the stories and have fun with the interactive activities.  Available for download on your favourite platform
  • Kanopy Kids: Unlimited access to quality children’s films and documentaries including ABC series such as Play School, popular titles and classics such as Where the Wild Things Are and Cinderella.
