Did you know that your local library offers free First 5 Forever activities for children 0-5?

Join other families at a fun, free Baby Play, Rhyme Time or Story Time session. For session times, check with your local library. To find the branch closest to you, use the postcode search at the bottom of this page.

Baby Play

Libraries are family-friendly spaces where even the littlest visitors are welcome! Parents and caregivers can brush up on their nursery rhymes, sing and dance with their babies to rhymes and enjoy stories. These sessions are best for children 0-12 months.

Babies are welcome at your local library, and will enjoy special baby play sessions full of singing, dancing and sharing stories

Rhyme Time

You and your little ones will love singing and dancing in these high energy sessions! Singing helps children to learn new words and understand the patterns of language, especially when actions are matched with words. These sessions are best for children 0-4 years.

First 5 Forever Rhyme Time sessions are a great way to brush up on nursery rhymes to share with your children at home

Story Time

Share stories together in easy and fun ways. Sessions can include books, puppets, activities, songs and games. Recommended for children 3-5 years.
