The Corner at Home Activities: Travel

Hello and welcome to The Corner at Home Activities. Today’s activity is inspired by travel!

Kids - big and little, process complex information when we are engaged in play and having fun, so let’s put on our best imaginative, playful hats together. 

Let’s get started! Join Tom as he creates a magical train ticket using collage and paint materials. Use your imagination to work out where your ticket is going to take you. It’s going to get fun and messy, so make sure you’re not wearing your favourite clothes! Where do you think you’ll go? Imaginary play is a really great way to bond with your children and forge lifelong connections to creativity.

What materials and equipment you will need? 

Use  materials and objects found in your home environment:

• Several sheets of paper 
• paper plate 
• water-based paint 
• scissors 
• any kind of object as long as your big person says that it’s okay
