Join State Library of Queensland's free Curriculum Connect teacher professional development session to discover the who, what, where and why's of heritage, its importance and how you can incorporate the Queensland Heritage Register into your lesson plans.
Presented by Catherine Chambers, Director of Heritage from the Department of Environment, Science and Innovation, this session is certain to debunk misconceptions surrounding Heritage while opening doors for discovery and creative connections in your classrooms.

The Australian Professional Standards for teachers provides a strong definition of and a key reference for the work of teachers in planning, delivering and reflecting on quality educational experiences. As a professional development opportunity, attendees will be provided with a certificate of participation which could be used to support the development of professional knowledge, professional practice and professional engagement domains of teaching.
