Updated guidance for attending events
We’re looking forward to seeing you soon at State Library! In line with Queensland Government advice, from Tuesday 12 January 2021 you must wear a mask throughout your visit to State Library. Children under 12 years and people affected by a medical condition or disability are exempt. Please continue to observe 1.5m physical distance from others.

Get ready for some Rhyme Time singing and dancing!
It’s Summertime Rhyme Time! Warm up your voices and enjoy cool tunes with us here on the Queensland Terrace. Your little ones will love singing and dancing in this high energy First 5 Forever session. Join the fun today!
Unable to join us at State Library? You can sing along online to our special summertime Rhyme Time sessions on Monday 11 and 18 Jan at 1pm on SLQplay.
Each group ticket is for 2-8 people, including a minimum of 1 adult. To maintain social distancing you will be seated with the members of your group. Before booking your ticket you might like to plan to bring a friend (or 3!) to make the most of your experience. Please be sure to arrive 15mins before the scheduled start time to allow time to check-in.
Subscribe to our children and families mailing list to receive updates about events and activities for your family, and to be among the first to receive updated program information.
State Library has worked with Queensland Health to develop a specific COVID-Safe Site Plan that governs how we are managing safe practices onsite. Bookings are essential to attend children and families activities.
