Join NITV News presenter, Natalie Ahmat, as she yarns with activist and Aboriginal rights champion, Murrandoo Yanner.

Experience the passion Yanner has for his people and traditions, of which he has proven to be a staunch force. He is featured in Politics & people power: rule makers and rebels, a part of State Library’s Twenty: two decades of Queensland photography exhibition. 

Murrandoo will speak to the importance of capturing community images and recordings, reflecting on his photographic portrait on Country and the many protest images which hold tremendous cultural and educational value to current and future generations. Murrandoo will also share his experience and the stories behind his featured images.
