Celebrate the man behind the game-changing Native Title Act, Eddie Koiki Mabo.
Co-curated by his daughter Gail Mabo, Dr Jonathan McBurnie and Kellie Williams, the exhibition brings together a selection of work by Indigenous and non-Indigenous artists in the spirit of reconciliation, three decades after the historic achievement.
Reflect on his legacy with original works created in response to his life, politics, activism, or legacy and be surprised in how they approach their reflections with reverence, compassion, anger, sadness and respect, to celebrate a man who was both a rebel and a dreamer.
