Join us as we travel through the 98.9FM musical journey, learn some dance moves and connect to the music from, I heard it on the radio.
A one-hour workshop will be facilitated by Jeanette Fabila where you gain an understanding of Aboriginal mainland culture and Torres Strait Island culture through Indigenous contemporary dances you will learn.
No previous dance experience is required and all participants young and old are welcome to attend. Families are welcome however children must be accompanied by their carer.
Jeanette Fabila specialises in Indigenous contemporary dance as a choreographer, cultural consultant and performing artist. Her experience spans over 20 years of performing and teaching audiences locally, nationally and internationally about her Aboriginal heritage.
