Join State Library of Queensland's Anzac Square staff to discover the contentious history of Anzac Day. Whilst the original intention of the Anzac Day commemoration committee was to honour those who fell, key events changed the day's meaning to establish the rituals and symbols familiar today. In this free, online professional development session, educators will delve into the history and discover historical treasures in State Library's collection that can be utilised in the classroom.

This session will be delivered online via Zoom.
