Go Play Brisbane

The 2025 Go Play Gaming Convention is returning to State Library on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 August 2025.

This free, two-day tabletop roleplaying convention will be hosted at The Edge.

From the venerable fantasy of Dungeons & Dragons and the eldritch horror of Call of Cthulhu to fast-paced heists in Blades in the Dark and ancient Roman feminist intrigue in Oppian Wives, Go Play offers the widest variety of classic, narrative, and experimental RPGs you’ll find in one place.

No experience with tabletop gaming? No worries! Every session at Go Play is run by friendly Game Masters who’ll guide new players through the rules as they play. With games suited to all ages and interests, Go Play is a welcoming and inclusive convention where everyone is invited to join the fun.

"Go Play brings together people who share a passion for roleplay gaming. There’s nothing like being in a room full of players equally invested in your hobby—sharing imaginations, creative ideas, and collaborating to build unforgettable experiences."

Registrations are recommended to secure your spot at a gaming table.

For more information, visit the Go Play website.

We can't wait to see you for a weekend filled with daring adventure and edge-of-your-seat drama. This year, Go Play also features a showcase of local boardgame designers hosting drop-in sessions of their latest games—and it’s all completely free of charge!
