Garden stories in a time of pandemic: digital storytelling workshops
Do you have any special stories in relation to your garden during the COVID-19 pandemic? Would you like to share your stories with like-minded people? We would love to hear your stories! This is a project aimed to explore the pandemic gardening experience. In these workshops, you will be writing your own garden story (100-200 words only) and reflecting on the past few years of pandemic experience, facilitated by Dr. Mimi Tsai at The Edge. You may bring along any pictures of your gardens or garden related images that inspired you during the pandemic.
Your stories will be part of the 2022 John Oxley Library Fellowship and facilitated by John Oxley Library Fellow, Dr. Mimi Tsai as part of the fellowship project, Vernacular Landscapes and Queensland Memories: Exploring Queensland’s resilience through narratives of therapeutic environments.
The digital storytelling workshops are completely free. Light refreshments will be provided.
As there is a limitation on space and resources, there will only be a limited number of people accepted to participate in the workshops. Please complete this booking form to submit your expression of interest. You can contact Mimi Tsai for further details on queenslandstories@gmail.com.
