Galbiri Voices celebrates Aboriginal and Islander Children’s Day 2020!
Gather your Jarjums (children) and join First Nations performers Sah and Ethan on Facebook Live as they perform fun musical interpretations of children’s artworks featured in the Big Voices exhibition. Sing along, dance and create your own personal response to the artwork.

About the performers:
Ethan is a Quandamooka performer with a passion for theatre, poetry and, music. Ethan has been featured in La Boite showcases such as: Define Adult, The Twenty One Artists Program, and has been a part of multiple Highway Festival and Fast Festival performances. He has performed at numerous poetry and spoken word events with groups such as Digi Youth Arts and Voices of Colour. Ethan is also a member of the hip hop trio Barefoot Boyz and is a part of the Mama’s Boys Collective under Claire Christian.
Singer/Songwriter Sah is an Indigenous live performer of Torres Strait and Aboriginal descent. He has 20 years experience in performing and touring, not only in Australia but overseas as well. Sah runs cultural workshops and mentorships for up-and-coming Australian artists of all ages.
