Tickets on sale at 6pm, Thursday 6 January
Keen to make your own jewellery, create a keychain or make a box or housing unit for all your knick-knacks? Join us for our popular laser cutter induction and learn about the endless opportunities with the machine.
Our lasers can cut and etch wood, plastics, paper, cloth and leather quickly and accurately. In this induction you will learn what software you can use, how to prepare design files and how to operate the machine safely. Use your creativity to personalise the design template provided, and take home your first project.
Once you've completed the induction you can book and use the State Library of Queensland's laser cutters in the Fabrication Lab.
In the event this workshop sells out, we do not hold a waitlist. Please learn more about the Fabrication Lab here, including Terms and Conditions for you to understand prior to registering for this event.
