Explore primary sources from the Medieval World (Year 8)
In this interactive workshop, students will adopt the mindset of historians as they analyse primary and secondary sources to uncover insights into feudal societies during the medieval period. By using State Library’s One Search catalogue and accessing online resources, including eBooks and academic databases, they will explore key aspects of medieval life, culture, and governance, from the fall of the Roman Empire to the early modern era, enriching their understanding through contemporary research.
To extend their learning, students will receive a research guide to support their continued study of societies and cultures between 476 CE and 1750 CE.
