Dr. Sandra Delaney
Sandra Delaney is a Nunagal, Goenbal Ngugi woman whose work is dedicated to honouring the foundations of Indigenous knowledge in language reclamation on Country.
Sandra holds a PhD on the reclamation of Jandai language and has worked on Jandai language reclamation for many years. She has served as a community consultant on various community projects to incorporate language and has been consulted about numerous place-naming initiatives.
Also a senior artist and author, Sandra has published several children’s books featuring language with the intention to share language and culture.
Craig Quartermaine is a comedian, journalist, writer, producer and radio and TV presenter. He is a proud Noongar, Bunjima man from Western Australia and has appeared on a variety of shows such as The Jim Jefferies Show on Comedy Central USA, Triple J's One Night Stand Up and ABC's Backroads program.
His performances at the Sydney and Melbourne International Comedy Festival created a name for him as a politically charged and socially conscience comedian. In 2016, Craig was nominated as a finalist for the RAW Comedy competition and has since worked with international acts such as Hannibal Burress, Naseem Hussain and Jim Jefferies.
His journalism career has spanned almost 10 years, primarily focusing on Indigenous affairs at ABC, SBS and NITV. Through his time at the ABC has hosted the weekly Sunday night radio show Weekend Evenings and co-hosted the upcoming television show Movin' to the Country.
