Welcome to The Edge Online Workshops, we have re-developed some of our popular workshops as online deliveries. Most of these workshops will just require yourself, a computer with stable internet connection, Zoom and a willingness to get creative with us.
Pop! Vinyl, My Little Pony, Mighty Muggs and all the awesome anime statues you see in the stores all have one thing in common; someone designed them, and someone manufactured them This is your chance to learn (some of) the skills to make that someone you.
Learn to cut up, remix, kit-bash and redesign State Library’s custom base model using free software and Creative Commons licensed bits from the internet. We’ll 3D print and deliver the outcome to you! These workshops plug into Hack the Evening, State Library of Queensland’s weekly making meetup where experienced makers will be on hand to give you a hand with your making.
