In this workshop, learn the tools and tips of the trade for designing for industrial cutting, using VCarve.
Vectric VCarve is the software used to drive the Fabrication Lab CNC router. A CNC router uses a rotating cutting tool which moves in 3 axes to cut-out or carve parts in different types of materials. CNC routers can be used to put or prototype signage, wall art, custom furniture, clocks, toys, archways... the list goes on!
In this software induction you will learn how to import your design and prepare for cutting. Best of all you will learn how to take advantage of our VCarve makerspace license to enable you to work on your designs at home.
