Do you have an idea for the next amazing podcasts that’s going to take the world by storm and don't know where to start? Need some guidance around what ‘s a good idea and turning that into awe-inspiring content? Need some professional development to give you the necessary tools to talk podcasting in your work life?
If your answer is yes to any of these questions or you’re just curious, this is the workshop series for you. Stepping you through the how-to and how-not-to of podcasting is local legend of audio and digital Michelle Brown; formerly of 4ZZZ.
Workshop One is all about the concept and research; what makes a popular podcast, finding a story/topic and creating an engaging channel to push your content out to the world.
Workshop Two zeros in on production; microphones and sound, the gear you need, understanding sound including capturing atmosphere, interviewing techniques. Essentially how do you make what you make sound like butter on the ear.
Workshop Three focuses on post-production; editing, mixing and hosting your content in the work, how to do this for free and measure your success.
These sessions are supported by a fortnightly facilitated meetup with Michelle, giving you the space to talk through ideas, concepts and all things related to podcasting.
