Brisbane Open House tour: Architect tours of State Library

Discover why the State Library building won state and national Royal Institute of Australian Architects awards on a free guided tour led by architect Lucas Leo. Explore building highlights from State Library’s 2006 redevelopment and learn the architectural history of Queensland’s major cultural collecting institution.

Throughout the day, families can enjoy a self-guided scavenger hunt and drop by The Edge across the weekend to grab a free miniature woodcut of a Queenslander or iconic Brisbane building for you to take and decorate. There will also be on display our latest Queensland Architecture in Miniature workshop participants book nooks, made and designed at The Edge.

Bookings essential - tickets available at 8am on Saturday 5th July.
