Using Cloud Storage
Ever thought it would be handy to be able to access saved documents and media, whilst on the go, regardless of what device you are using or how much memory your device has? Unlock the power of the Cloud by discovering how to use the free storage available to you through services like Google Drive, available by simply having a common email account such as gmail.
Be Connected gives older adults an opportunity to participate in fun, free learning sessions that will increasing their confidence, skills, and knowledge to get online using everyday technology such as smartphones, tablets, laptops and computers.
There is a broad range of topics on offer from learning the absolute basics, getting to know your devices and how to get started online, to connecting with family, online hobbies such as researching your family history and most importantly, how to stay safe online.
State Library of Queensland is part of the Be Connected network and will deliver Be Connected learning session’s onsite Wednesdays and Fridays from 10.00am till 12.30pm, morning tea will be included. Each month we will focus on different learning topics (listed below) and you can book into as many sessions as you like.
