Join us at Anzac Square Memorial Galleries to learn about the role of nurses in the armed forces during WWI and WWII and hear some of their stories of bravery and sacrifice.

Discover the people, places and stories that underpin the Queensland war experience in this series of free public talks hosted by the Anzac Square Memorial Galleries.

This talk series draws from State Library’s digital collection of military stories, diaries, letters, photographs and artefacts and includes a tour of Anzac Square Memorial Galleries.

Anzac Square Memorial Galleries is located at 285 Ann Street, Brisbane. Entry is through the double brass doors located beneath the Shrine of Remembrance.
