Ask us webinar: Queensland aviation between the wars

Join research librarian Christina Ealing-Godbold and librarian Cyrena Mazlin for this webinar highlighting the range of resources documenting the history of pioneer aviation in Queensland. In the era when Qantas was established, there were a number of ex world War One Pilots offering aerial services across our great state. Small Avro planes, with room for just one or two passengers, flew across miles of unsettled terrain as well as offering joy rides on Queensland beaches.

This webinar will include an introduction to printed resources, manuscript material and photographs of the early aviators and their flying machines, mostly ex-military airmen and aircraft from World War One.
