Create your own piece of office flair with our LED desktop oddity. In this workshop you will get to design using LED lights and create a pixelated display.

Learn how to put together and code a desktop led digital oddity that will be the envy of your entire office, or maybe brand your own space at home.

This is the perfect introduction to electronics and coding that’ll leave you feeling awfully clever.

Requirements

  • Participants must be over 16 years of age
  • Please become a State Library member before you arrive. If you already have a SLQ member account make sure you know your login details, you may be required to login during the workshop to access SLQ computers and to make bookings for equipment.
  • This workshop uses Adobe software - please sign up for an Adobe account to save time in the workshop.

Concession prices are for holders of; Student Card, Pension Card, Health Care Card. Please be aware that you will have to show your card when you turn up for the session, if card can not be produced you will have to pay the extra amount of the general admission costs.
