With our new Prusa i3 MK3s 3D printers you can turn a virtual 3D model into a solid plastic object. In this induction you will learn the basics of 3D printing and creating your own model, including how to load it into the printer and cleaning up the product.
We'll take you through Tinkercad, an online free and easy-to-use app for 3D design. Use your creativity to create your own design and take home your first project!
- Participants must be over 16 years of age
- Enclosed, flat footwear must be worn at all times
- This workshop uses Autodesk software - please sign up for a Autodesk account to save time in the workshop
- Please become a State Library member before you arrive. If you already have a SLQ member account make sure you know your login details, you may be required to login during the workshop to access SLQ computers and to make bookings for equipment.

Concession prices are for holders of; Student Card, Pension Card, Health Care Card. Please be aware that you will have to show your card when you turn up for the session, if card can not be produced you will have to pay the extra amount of the general admission costs.
