101 - Vector design with Inkscape

Learn the basics of vector design with free and open-source software, Inkscape. Using this core skill set for creatives, you will create a design to cut as a vinyl sticker during the workshop session.

Your new vector skills will help you with a range of equipment at The Edge, including preparing designs for the laser cutter and vinyl cutter, animation and motion graphics.

 

ABOUT 101 WORKSHOPS

101 skill development workshops give you the basic skills you need to start your new creative journey.  

Each workshop is delivered by an experienced facilitator and to participate in the workshops, intermediate computer skills, a willingness to learn and a little patience will see you underway. 

REQUIREMENTS TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS WORKSHOP

• Participants must be over 16 years of age.
• Enclosed, flat footwear must be worn at all times in the Innovation lab.
