Summer Holiday Fun will run between 9 and 24 January. Please see the full program for details.

Yes. We ask you to please book before you visit. Summer Holiday Fun is a family program, so please book tickets for all adults and children attending.  

  • all the sign-up details will be contained in the booking form for each event, simply follow the instructions 
  • there will be COVID-19 related questions in line with our COVID-Safe Site Plan which is in accordance with advice from Queensland Health 
  • complete all registration and contract sourcing details via State Library website 
  • agree to the State Library of Queensland Terms of Use in the booking form

You will be asked to participate in a safety briefing at the beginning of each onsite session.

Please make your way to The Corner or The Queensland Terrace where our staff will help you sign in via Sine Pro, our contact tracing app. To fast-track your entry, you can download the Sine Pro smartphone app at the Apple App Store or Google Play. 

Please arrive early, the Queensland Terrace will be open 30 minutes prior to the start of the event to allow time for signing in.  Pram parking will be available.

In line with Queensland Government advice, from Tuesday 12 January 2021 you must wear a mask throughout your visit to State Library. Children under 12 years and people affected by a medical condition or disability are exempt. Please continue to observe 1.5m physical distance from others.

You can manage your own bookings via the website. If you are unable to attend the event please cancel your booking so that we are able to make the spaces available to others.

The carer's room is equipped with baby change facilities, toilet facilities, feeding chairs, sinks, microwave, television and all the comfort you need to take care of your little ones.

Access to these facilities is via the Infozone on level 1.
