Toowoomba tackles new ways of engaging with young people

How can First 5 Forever lead to broader innovations beyond “delivering early literacy”?

Toowoomba Regional Libraries looked at Story Time as an opportunity for bringing philosophical and practical change to the library's ways of engaging with young patrons and their families.

In this IFLA article, learn how Toowoomba library adapted their Story Time program, and their learning activities and art initiatives to help children under five take charge of the space, lead their own encounters with stories, and take ownership of their interactions as part of the library community.
