Start-up win caps off big weekend

"In what has been a big couple of days for Queensland technology start-ups QUT Creative Enterprise Australia announced that start-up Shario, a platform for swapping musical instruments and accessories, took out first prize at Startup Weekend Brisbane. Shario, dubbed as ‘Gumtree for Musos’, was born out of the reality that musicians generally do not earn a lot of money from their craft and therefore can find it difficult to afford equipment." Read more
