When libraries and culture combine.

When libraries and culture combine.

Book now to join a workshop on 15 February in Brisbane which will explore the many aspects of cultural inclusion in a community service setting.

This professional development opportunity comes from Queensland Council of Social Service and PeakCare, and aims to give you a better understanding of the strengths of culturally diverse communities and how to appropriately include people from different cultures into your workplace and service delivery.

Sessions will include:

  1. What are the strengths of culturally diverse communities?

  2. What are the enablers for supporting culturally inclusive service practices?

  3. How can the sector more effectively engage and work with interpreters to support diverse populations?

  4. Exploring enablers to access for culturally and linguistically diverse populations in different community service settings.
