How to crowdsource a startup, with Carparkit’s Nick Russell

"Nick Russell is trying to get a new car space renting business off the ground and knows that one of his personal weaknesses is that he is not very creative. So, instead of hoarding information about his plans to launch Carparkit, he has sought advice and feedback from as many people as possible. His collection of advisers includes artist C.J. Hendry, a friend; architect Paul Fairweather, a family friend and the co-host of TEDxBrisbane forums; Russell’s grandmother; Mark De Ambrosis, investment director at the venture capital firm M.H. Carnegie & Co and a connection of his girlfriend’s sister-in-law; and his uncle, property developer Peter Spargo." Read more
