Brisbane’s entrepreneurs of the future share $45,000 in startup funding

"Nine of Brisbane's up-and-coming digital entrepreneurs leading the way for technology startups will share in $45,000 from Round 7 of the Lord Mayor's Budding Entrepreneurs Program. Lord Mayor Graham Quirk today announced nine successful winners in the latest round of grants, encouraging entrepreneurs to take the next step with their startup ideas. Cr Quirk said every entry showed great initiative, ranging from applications designed to monitor and manage the progress of recovery and rehabilitation, to a service that guards travellers from potential threats." Read more
