State Library's range of engaging annual programs offer students of all ages the opportunity to be creative, learn a new skill or be awarded for their efforts.
Design Minds increases the opportunity for Queensland's young people to take part in world-class design education projects and activities. Workshops and events use design thinking to develop the capabilities of successful and creative 21st century citizens within existing education and learning benchmarks.

Explore a world of creativity every winter and summer school holidays with fun, hands-on Story Lab workshops for students aged 8 to 14. Workshops are designed to cater for different age groups and learning styles and all materials for each workshop are supplied.

An annual summer program delivered online and in many Australian libraries to encourage a love of recreational reading and ongoing multi-literacy skills development among children, young people and their families.
