This software induction is about skills and techniques you can use to maximise your productivity on the Fabrication Lab equipment. Corel Draw is used in The Edge's Fabrication Lab to drive the laser cutter. During this software induction we’ll cover the ins and outs of Corel Draw and how it can be used to create or edit vector graphics such as illustrations, diagrams, line art, charts, logos and complex paintings. We’ll also take you through how you can use your new design skills to print on our laser and vinyl cutters.
- Participants must be over 16 years of age
- Participants must wear enclosed flat footwear
- Please become a State Library member before registering for a State Library, Edge account before you arrive. You will need an account to borrow from State Library, as well as complete the induction, assessment and make bookings for the equipment.
Concession prices are for holders of; Student Card, Pension Card, Health Care Card. Please be aware that you will have to show your card when you turn up for the session, if card can not be produced you will have to pay the extra amount of the general admission costs.
