Learn the art of employing stitching to patch or recycle fabric scraps. The Japanese have traditionally used this method to extend the life of a garment with simple boro stitching, creating something of beauty out of imperfection. In this workshop, you will use this traditional technique to create an artistic fabric brooch.
Only a basic stitching level is required, using straight hand stitches. An assortment of fabrics allow you to make a brooch that is unique.. Superglue will be used to fix your brooch pin to the back.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your workshop start time to register and secure your place.
Suitable for beginners aged 12+.
